Eden Hazard ready to leave Stamford Bridge has reported that Real Madrid have sent a representative to London to speak with Chelsea over a transfer for Hazard. It is claimed Real Madrid will attempt a “final push” to land the Belgian.

The football website states Chelsea would be willing to sell Hazard for £115 million. Los Blancos are said to be more willing to pay around £100m, but a deal is expected to be finalised somewhere between the two desired figures.

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane wants to make over his squad ahead of next season. Many of Real Madrid’s top stars looked their age in 2018-19 and the likes of Luka Modric and Gareth Bale could be moved on.

Zidane is also eyeing Tottenham Hotspur’s Christian Eriksen but a deal for Hazard is at the top of the Spanish club’s to-do list.

Who will be the Eden Hazard replacement?

Following the Europa League Final in Baku, Hazard eluded to leaving Chelsea this summer. Hazard’s move to the Stadio Santiago Bernabeu has been protracted, but a move could finally be sealed in the next week.

Hazard’s replacement for next season, Christian Pulisic, has already arrived at Stamford Bridge this offseason from Borussia Dortmund. The Blues have been linked with Barcelona’s Philippe Coutinho as the club could have a large windfall of money once Hazard’s transfer is completed.

In a separate transfer to Hazard’s deal, Chelsea want to make on-loan Real Madrid player Matteo Kovacic a permanent member of the team. Although Real Madrid wanted to bundle Kovacic and cash into a deal for Hazard, the Blues declined the offer.
